报告题目：Micropollutants (MCPs) of emerging concern in wastewater and advanced treatment methods

报告摘要：

MCPs of emerging concern are in the focus of from a scientific and a practical point of view in the last decade. This is due to their persistence, and detrimental effects both on receiving waters, the environment, and humans.  The talk will discuss sources of MCPs in municipal wastewater. Then processes to remove MCPs will be described; A combined adsorption-biodegradation process, and UV irradiation AOP (advances oxidation process). Process parameters will be elaborated and the fate of selected MCPs including transformation products and competing constituents will be described.

报告人简介：

Eran Friedler教授任职于以色列理工学院（Technion-Israel Institute of Technology）土木与环境工程学院。他目前担任该校水论坛项目（Water Forum Project）负责人，并兼任斯蒂芬与南希・格兰德水研究所（Stephen and Nancy Grand Water Research Institute）所长。作为高级研究员，他还拥有亨利·戈德堡学术讲席（Henry Goldberg Academic Chair）职位。他的研究主要聚焦于开发替代性水源，推动城市水资源的可持续管理；研究大规模废水处理系统；以及探索下水道系统内发生的过程及其对集水区水质的影响。
