报告题目: Mechanism-based Regulation of Asymmetric Tsuji–Trost-type Reactions
报告摘要:Transition-metal-catalyzed Tsuji–Trost-type reactions are among the most im-portant reactions in organic synthesis. Despite continuous development in past decades, chiral Z-olefin molecules remained as a “forbidden” category of products in Tsuji–Trost-type reactions. The reason behind this phenomenon lies in the thermodynamic instability of the anti-π-allyl-transition-metal intermediates. In this talk, we present our recent results in Z-retentive Tsuji–Trost-type reactions under Ir- or Pd-catalysis. Com-bined experimental and computational mechanistic studies, including kinetic profiles, structural characterization of key intermediates and asymmetric induction models, were carried out, allowing rational design of a series of useful synthetic methods towards challenging target molecules, by regulating the reactivity of anti-π-allyl-transition-metal intermediates.

郑超博士,中国科学院上海有机所研究员。研究领域为物理有机化学与手性催化合成,特别是导向精准合成的有机反应机制研究和新反应设计。提出涉及螺环假吲哚中间体的不对称Pictet–Spengler反应新机制。阐明了多自旋态反应中热力学、动力学和动态学因素调控瞬态双自由基中间体转化路径的规律。基于活泼亲核试剂快速捕获策略发展了Z式保留不对称烯丙基取代反应。实现了一系列复杂拓扑结构多环分子的高效合成。曾获国家自然科学奖二等奖(2017年,排名第三),入选上海市青年科技启明星(2018年)和中国科学院青年创新促进会优秀会员(2021年),获得国家自然科学基金委优秀青年科学基金资助(2023年)。近五年作为共同通讯作者在Acc. Chem. Res. (2), Nat. Catal. (1), J. Am. Chem. Soc. (10), Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. (3), Nat. Commun. (2)等期刊发表论文40余篇。
