On the afternoon of March 20, the 29th edition of the "Zhixing 'Chemistry' Education, Vocational Integration into the Universe" career guidance event—specifically the recruitment information session for the Master of Science in Advanced Materials Science program at The Chinese University of Hong Kong—was successfully held at the lecture hall of Zhixing Academy. The event, jointly organized by the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering and Zhixing Academy, featured Professor Lu Xinhui of The Chinese University of Hong Kong as the keynote speaker, with students from both the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering and Zhixing Academy in attendance.
Professor Lu Xinhui began by outlining the general profile of The Chinese University of Hong Kong and its campus life, then provided a systematic introduction to the curriculum design, distinctive strengths, faculty resources, and research platforms of the Master of Science in Advanced Materials Science program. She also offered detailed explanations regarding admission requirements, the application process, scholarship policies, and career placement arrangements. During the Q&A session, students actively raised questions concerning program suitability and application preparation; Professor Lu responded to each query with patience, offering tailored advice for their further academic pursuits.
This initiative represents a key measure by the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering and the Zhixing Academy to deepen collaborative talent cultivation between the two institutions and advance high-quality career guidance efforts, thereby helping students accurately access information regarding further education opportunities and clarify their career planning strategies. Moving forward, the School and the Academy will continue to integrate high-quality resources, expand domestic and international exchange and cooperation programs, and provide a wider range of students with more precise and efficient career guidance services.
