2010年11月24日至25日，国家海洋局环境监测中心温泉教授访问汕头大学，并为我校师生作了题为“我国海洋科技发展——现状与趋势”的报告，受到师生的好评。报告会后, 温泉教授还跟海洋生物学科师生进行交流座谈。
温泉教授是国家海洋局资深专家、海洋环境监测中心首席研究员，长期从事海洋环境保护与管理、科技管理等工作。目前是国家海洋局近岸海域生态环境重点实验室首席科学家、国家海洋规划咨询评估专家委员会委员、国家科技兴海专家组组长。同时，是国家海洋局多个战略规划制定组组长，负责规划的起草工作。 |

2010年11月22日至23日，国家海洋局第三海洋研究所周秋麟教授和厦门大学海洋环境学院杨圣云教授访问汕头大学。杨圣云教授和周秋麟教授分别为我校师生作了题为“海洋综合管理——从单种群到生态系统”和“海洋自然保护区的科学规划”的学术报告，受到师生的好评。报告会后,两位教授跟海洋生物学科师生进行交流座谈。
周秋麟教授现任国家海洋局第三海洋研究所资深研究员，长期从事海洋生物多样性保护与管理、海洋自然保护区建设等工作。自上世纪80年代初以来，一直是我国海洋国际合作的发起人与推动人，为我国的海洋科技进步作出了重大贡献。目前，周教授是国家海洋局资深研究员，大量负责或参与国家海洋局重大科技战略的制定与起草工作。
杨圣云教授现任厦门大学教授，长期从事海洋鱼类生物学、海洋资源、海洋生态学和海洋综合管理等方面的教学和科学研究工作。现为中国水产学会理事、中国鱼类学会理事、中国海洋生态学会理事，教育部地球科学教学指导委员会委员、海洋科学和海洋工程类教学指导分委员会副主任。 |

2010年11月9日至11月10日，德国波罗的海海洋研究所Guenter Jost（姚士德）博士和中国国家海洋局第三海洋研究所叶德赞教授访问我所。9日下午，Jost博士和叶教授参观考察了海洋生物研究所和生物系；10日上午，Jost博士为我校师生作了题为“Some aspects of marine phage ecology”的学术报告，受到师生的好评。报告会后, Jost跟海洋所部分师生进行交流座谈，探讨进一步的合作事宜。
Jost博士于1983年获罗斯托克大学博士学位，曾任中德合作项目“海洋微生物生态功能”德方首席科学家（1996-2000）、智利Catolice del Norte Coquimbo大学 (1995)、厦门大学环科中心 (1998)、生命学院 (2002)客座教授。目前承担TRUMP、JGOFS、GOBEST、DFG项目中的 “细菌在海洋微食物网中的作用”、“水体具氧与无氧界面Mn、N循环过程中的细菌活性”、“海洋无机化能硝化细菌”、“水体细菌和噬菌体相互作用”等方面的研究，现任中德合作项目“不同水环境中土著噬菌体与其宿主细菌共存系统的研究”德方首席科学家。 |

英国Stirling大学水产研究所Douglas Tocher 教授和Oscar Monroig 博士于5月23日访问汕头大学，开始为期2周的合作研究。期间，Tocher 教授和Monroig 博士分别为我校师生作了题为“Developments in Oil Usage within Aquaculture in Europe: Research and Application”和“Zebrafish Elovl4 elongases: Role in biosynthesis of very long-chain fatty acids and expression during embryogenesis”的学术报告，跟海洋所师生进行座谈，指导研究生的科研工作，并参加了两位硕士生的论文答辩。此外，他们还考察了海洋生物研究所、广东省海洋生物技术重点实验室南澳临海实验站、生物医药与先进材料中心、中心实验室等的教学科研设施. |

丁兰平，男，博士，中科院海洋所副研究员。第五届中国孢子植物志编委会编委，中国海洋湖沼学会藻类学分会第七届理事会理事、常务理事、秘书长。
2003年在中科院海洋所海洋生物学专业获博士学位，1998年8月至今，在中科院海洋所工作；2009年4月-2010年3月，在美国南卡大学留学及合作研究；2001年开始任副研究员。已主持科研项目13项，包括国际合作1项、国家级7项、院部级3项、所创新1项、学会基金1项；参加各级科研课题14项；在核心期刊发表研究论文23篇，其中SCI论文9篇，完成著作7部。
2010年4月9日，丁兰平博士、黄冰心博士分别为汕大师生作了学术报告。丁兰平博士的学术报告题目为“硬毛藻的发育生物学及其光温生理调控研究”。

Yoshio Takei教授简介：
1979年于东京大学获得博士学位，现为东京大学海洋研究所教授、海洋生命科学部主任；国际著名的鱼类生理学及比较内分泌学家。近10年来发表学术论文146篇，担任6个国际或国内学术组织的理事、4种国际学术期刊的编辑或编委。其发表于“American Journal of Physiology”的论文于2002年位居下载量前三名，发表于“Comparative Biochemistry and Physiology”的论文于2005年位居下载量前十名。2007年被“Comparative Endocrinology”和“General and Comparative Endocrinology”杂志专访；2004年被聘为澳大利亚迪肯大学荣誉教授；2009年5月被聘为汕头大学客座教授。

苏建国博士简历
苏建国，男，1972年12月生，博士(后)，副教授，2008年教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划获得者。主要研究方向：水产动物免疫与病害学。
2001年12月在西北农林科技大学动物生物技术专业获得硕士学位；2005年7月在中国科学院海洋研究所海洋生物学专业获得博士学位。2003年6月至2004年6月在在澳大利亚联邦科学与工业联合组织（CSIRO）作访问学者。2005年晋升为副教授。2006年4月至2008年3月在中国科学院水生生物研究所进行博士后研究工作，合作导师为朱作言院士。已主持包括2项国家自然科学基金在内的科研课题11项，参与包括国家“973”项目在内的科研课题7项；发表研究论文36篇，其中第一作者SCI论文11篇（合计影响因子30.07），EI收录论文1篇；获得学术奖励3次；主编论著1部。

张学成教授简介
张学成，男，中国海洋大学教授、博士生导师，国家水产原良种审定委员会委员，中国科学院海洋研究所实验海洋生物学重点实验室顾问委员，汕头大学顾问教授。
主要学术成就：长期潜心大型藻类和微藻生物工程基础研究，系统地进行了龙须菜、螺旋藻等海藻的遗传学、生物学研究，取得了较丰硕的理论成果；在生产实践中，将产、学、研有机结合，取得了一批创新性强的应用研究成果。作为主创人员参与了龙须菜的南移栽培并取得成功，开创了我国继海带紫菜之后的第三大海藻栽培业；创立了我国北方螺旋藻生态养殖模式、小球藻生态调控模式和盐生杜氏藻在线养殖控制理论，促进了我国北方微藻产业的建立和发展。承担国家及省、市科研项目20余项，主编《海藻遗传学》等专著3部，参编5部，发表科研论文170余篇，申请发明专利7项；获得国家科技进步二等奖1项（第二完成人），教育部科技进步一等奖1项（第一完成人），国家海洋局科技进步一等奖1项、二等奖1项，获国务院特殊津贴、青岛市专业技术拔尖人才称号等。

熊光明, 1949年5月生。1982年9月获长春白求恩医科大学生物化学硕士学位，1986年9月获解放军长春兽医大学分子生物学博士学位。1987年10月获洪堡基金赴德国基尔森（Giessen）大学作博士后。1989年后在德国基尔森大学和马堡（Marburg）大学任教，2003至今在德国基尔（Kiel）大学药理病毒研究所任教授。目前还兼任北京大学、福建农林大学和长春理工大学客座教授。
2008年11月24日熊光明教授为汕大师生作了“Characteristic of an activator which regulates gene expression of 3alpha-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase/carbonyl reductase in Comamonas testosteroni”学术报告。
报告内容简介：
The activator gene was cloned from C. testosteroni and the 6 x His-tag-activator protein was purified; 3alpha-HSD/CR was expressed in higher level in C. testosteroni, E. coli and P. aeruginosa cotransformed or integrated with activator plasmid; 2D electrophoresis showed that except 3alpha-HSD/CR the activator influenced some other protein expressions; 187 aa (564 bp) activator is a precursor and 138 aa (417 bp) is active form after digestion in vivo; Activator protein binds to 3H-testosterone; DNA binding and RNA polymerase binding domains were found on the middle and C terminal of actovator protein; Activator binds on a 48 bp domain upstream of 3alpha-HSD/CR promoter and the 48 bp deleted mutant has no response to testosterone induction; Over expression of activator is toxic to bacterium.
Comamonas testosteroni 3alpha-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase/carbonyl reductase (3alpha-HSD/CR) is a key enzyme in the degradation of steroid compounds and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in soil, and may therefore play a significant role in the bioremediation of harmful compounds in the environment. We previously reported the cloning and isolation of two repressors and an activator which regulate the gene expression of 3alpha-HSD/CR in C. testosteroni. After steroid induction 3alpha-HSD/CR gene expression increased. |
