As a collaboration between the Li Ka Shing
Foundation and the Chaozhou/Shanto municipal governments, this is a model of viable and sustainable medical practice for impoverished rural residents. By establishing a platform and network for the delivery of medical service, people in need are provided with the necessary means and resources to help themselves. The virtuous cycle will help reduce dependence on government and public resources and enhance the capabilities of rural medical professionals.
