Business School and Cheung Kong School of Journalism and Communication
The previous Mental Health Center with its multi-blocks of architecture will be transformed to become the headquarters for the Business School and Cheung Kong School of Journalism and Communication. The original atrium will be kept and surrounded by steps that form an auditorium, accentuating the centripetal force of the place. The atrium provides a link between the Business School on to the south and the Cheung Kong School of Journalism and Communication on to the north. Alongside the atrium is the newly built complex with lecture halls and classrooms. The huge canopy above the atrium merges all space into one entity.
