| Library The new library will be facing south-east and forming an axis with the original lawn and the lawwhich will be extended to become the a "Central Park". Designed to become the icon of the Shantou University, the new library will also define the University's new entrance, thus carrying the symbolic meaning of "Gateway to Knowledge". The new library has a total floor area of 2,500 sq.m with a seating capacity of 2,000 and a book collection of 2 million. |
