Students' Activities Center
It offers amenity facilities such as rooms for dancing and playing music, as well as space for audio/visual leisure activities. The complex also provides life's basic necessities such as eateries, retail shops and convenience stores. Ample space is also provided for students' gathering and car parking. The transforming work is based on the design concept that "inherits the past and paves way for the future", thus respecting the historical meaning of the original building. Upon completion of the construction, the building will still be permeated with the aura of earlier days. The transforming renovation work strengthens the presence of the atrium with newly added foyer, walkway and glass doors on all sides. The fluidity of the first floor interior space enables it to extend and merge into the atrium, linking interior, semi-interior and exterior spaces into one entity.
